Jitter Fingers was created to provide a safe online social-networking environment for girls. Unlike some other social networking sites, we do not provide the public with open access.
Jitter Fingers enables teen and tween girls and their best friends to go online together and share blogs, photos, reviews, events and communicate in a protected environment.
While Jitter Fingers Privacy Policy is in compliance with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we have created additional important safeguards:
- Jitter Fingers provides a closed community that limits the number of girls per club. Limiting the number of club members forces the girls to be more selective about which friends they invite.
- Since members must know each other in the physical world, it is virtually impossible to get into a club with someone they don't know. Jitter Fingers clubs are "invitation-only", the girls must invite their friends, they cannot search for new friends.
- No member e-mail addresses, user identification or any other way to contact an individual girl is publicly posted on the site. Any attempt to contact a member in a public area or club to club is prohibited and will be deleted.
- Jitter Fingers clubs are completely separate. Though an individual girl can belong to more than one club, such as friends from school and friends from camp, one Jitter Friends club cannot communicate with another Jitter Friends club.
- Girls can post information and opinions to public areas only after it's been approved by Jitter Fingers.
We value the thoughts, opinions, and suggestions of parents and encourage them to contact us with any questions or concerns.
