General Information
Is there an age limit on joining Jitter Fingers?
There is no age limit to join, however, Jitter Fingers is COPPA compliant, which means that girl that are under the age of 13 will not be allowed to sign up without her parents’ permission.  If you're under 13 you'll need to supply your parents' email address when you sign up and get their approval before you'll be allowed to join.  Remember, you won't get full access to Jitter Fingers until your parents' approve you!
What does Jitter Fingers’ cost?
Jitter Fingers will always be free.
Why do you need my personal information?
Good question.  You should never give your personal information on sites you don't trust.  Your email address is the only required personal information you have to supply.  Everything else is completely optional.  Nobody outside of your clubs has access to your information and we will never publish or sell it.  If you have any questions, you should look at our Message to Parents.
Will you send a lot of email to me?
Jitter Fingers will send you an email to notify you when you've signed up, joined a club, created a club or when someone else has invited you to their club.  From time to time we may also inform you of special promotions or contests.
Understanding Your Club
What is a Jitter Friends Club?
A Jitter Friends club is an invitation-only club where you can share pictures, create a personal journal, make your own online calendar and hang-out with your closest friends.
How do I start a club?
It’s easy!  You'll create your first club when you sign up for Jitter Fingers.  Once you're signed up, you can create more clubs by clicking "Create A New Club" in the Friend Zone.
How many friends can I add to my club?
Jitter Fingers' Clubs are limited to eight girls.  Jitter Fingers was designed for small groups of best friends.  We choose to keep the clubs small to discourage users from adding people they barely know.
What if I can’t think of eight friends to join right away?
No problem.  You can always invite friends later directly from the Friends Zone on the Club page.
Can I belong to more than one club?
Yes.  You can create a club with camp friends, chorus, etc.  You can create and belong to as many clubs as you want.
Do I have to go submit a new form to join a different club?
Nope.  Once you sign up that's it, you can create or join as many clubs as you want.  Remember, once you join a club, friends in that club can see all the personal information you've supplied. Make sure these are friends you know and trust.
How do I change my profile?
It’s easy.  Click "Edit Your Profile" in the Friends Zone.
Will I need a new password if I belong to different clubs?
No, the password you entered when you signed up will be give you access to all your clubs.
What if one of my friends lives in a different city?
That’s not a problem.  Friends from different cities can join the same club.
If I belong to two clubs, can they talk to each other?
Sorry, no.  Jitter Fingers' Clubs are seperate, club to club interaction is not possible.
What is the Club Leader?
The Club Leader is the person who starts a Jitter Fingers' Club.  The Club Leader has to approve any girl that wants to join the club.  You'll find the Club Leader page by clicking the "Club Leader" link in the Friend Zone on the Club page.
What can I name my club?
Your club name can contain 24 letters.  If you sign up as MyBestFriends and your club is based in Los Angeles, your club URL will be http://mybestfriends.losangeles.jitterfingers.com.  Don’t worry, you'll probably never have to type this in, but just in case it's good to know.
What if I choose a name of a club that’s already listed?
We'll let you know and you'll need to pick another one.
How do I invite my friends?
You can invite your friends when you start your new club or you can click “Invite More Friends” from inside the Friends Zone on the Club page.
How do I accept a person into the Club?
There are two ways.

1) You’ll receive an email saying that one of your friends wants to join your club.  Click the link supplied in that email and your friend will be automatically approved and added to your club.

2) In the Friends Zone on the Club page, click the link that says "Club Leader", then click "Approve" next to your friend's name to approve and add her to your club.
Can I join any club?
No, you can only join a club if you're invited to it by one of it's members.
Can I invite friends if I join a club?
Yes, but the Club Leader has to approve their membership.
What if the person I invite isn’t accepted?
You can always start a new club of your own and invite your friend to that one.
Understanding My Town
Do you have to belong to Jitter Fingers to visit a My Town page?
Anyone can visit one of the over 300 Jitter Fingers cities.  You simply type in the name of the city.  For example, http://losangeles.jitterfingers.com will take you to the Los Angeles My Town whether you're a member or not.
How do you submit a picture for Around Town Photos?
You hit the "Add Photo" underneath the Around Town Photo viewer and fill in the upload form.  Don’t forget to give your picture a name.  Pictures have to be approved before they’re posted.
Do you have to be a member to submit a photo to Around Town Photos?
Yes.

How do I change my password?
In the Friends Zone on the Club page, click "Edit Your Account".
How do I change my email address?
In the Friends Zone on the Club page, click "Edit Your Account".

Go to www.jitterfingers.com and click "Forgot Password" under the login form on the right.
I forgot my username.
